John and Angie Downs are native Nashvillians who find joy, purpose, and success in helping clients get into their desired home, while educating them throughout the process. As a married couple of 26 years, they find their individual strengths compliment each other, creating a powerful team to serve Middle Tennessee.Â

In addition to buying and selling homes, the Downs team also consults with clients through home renovations and new construction. There are times when a client will find a home in the right location, but it needs a lot of help to make it their dream home. John and Angie have experience flipping homes in Middle Tennessee, as well as a full renovation on their personal home.
Working with several investors, contractors, and builders for remodels and new construction has given John and Angie and understanding of what it takes to have a successful home renovation or new build. The services that they offer allow their clients a broadened scope for their future home.
Prior to being in real estate, John spent 23 years serving his community through law enforcement in Metro Nashville and specialty community relations. His strengths are negotiating and protecting the client’s best interest, while Angie’s are in the details and staying on top of market trends, design, and style. Together they both have a solid knowledge of the industry, process, and Middle Tennessee. These strengths combined with their goal-oriented drive is what makes them the best agent for you.
The Downs have two adult children. Courtney is a nursing graduate of Cumberland University and David is a graduate of Lipscomb with a degree in mechanical engineering. Outside of work, John and Angie both enjoy spending time with their family and traveling. Individually, John enjoys playing golf, while Angie enjoys the thrill of hunting down new places to find decor and design for homes.
